Kevin Whitaker’s artwork to benefit Maison Gilles-Carle in B-M
Diagnosed in 2016 with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Disease, Kevin Whitaker began painting full-time in 2018 to help him live better with his condition, but also to raise money for the causes he cares about. In fact, proceeds from the sale of his paintings are donated to research and health care organizations that support patients and their families facing neurological disorders. Maison Gilles-Carle in Brome-Missisquoi is one of these organizations.
Since 2018, he has presented 8 exhibitions, sold over 200 paintings and raised nearly $190,000 for research and various organizations.
The BMCSG warmly thanks Mr. Whitaker for his involvement in the community and more specifically for his engagement towards the cause of caregivers.
