Board Member Luce Goerlach Receives the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal

At the beginning of the year, the Brome-Missisquoi Caregiver Support Group (BMCSG) submitted the candidacy of Luce Goerlach, member of its Board of Directors, for the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal.

We are very happy to announce that her application was accepted! On April 24th, Ms. Goerlach was rewarded for her ongoing volunteer commitment, which contributes to the well-being of her community and the mission of the Brome-Missisquoi organizations she is involved with.

Luce Goerlach is known for her energy, empathy and generosity, as well as for being a valuable advisor. In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors of the BMCSG (Maison Gilles-Carle) and the Sutton Volunteer Centre, she acts as a resource person for a nonprofit housing organization for seniors, participates in the delivery of meals-on-wheels, and animates weekly exercise sessions for the prevention of osteoporosis. All these activities represent 30 to 40 volunteer hours per week.

Mrs. Goerlach goes above and beyond and this is why the BMCSG wishes to recognize her exceptional dedication which certainly plays a role in the success of the organizations she volunteers for.

Thank you, Luce!
