{"id":1692,"date":"2023-01-31T14:30:25","date_gmt":"2023-01-31T19:30:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsabm.ca\/blog\/2023\/01\/31\/unveiling-of-the-results-of-the-expansion-project\/"},"modified":"2025-05-16T13:24:03","modified_gmt":"2025-05-16T17:24:03","slug":"unveiling-of-the-results-of-the-expansion-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsabm.ca\/en\/blog\/2023\/01\/31\/unveiling-of-the-results-of-the-expansion-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Unveiling of the Results of the Expansion Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Brome-Missisquoi Caregiver Support Group (BMCSG) is very pleased to unveil the results of the Maison Gilles-Carle de Brome-Missisquoi expansion project, leading to an enhancement of the organization&#8217;s services for the region&#8217;s caregivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work took place during 2022 and was initiated in order to meet the growing demand for our respite, accommodation and psychosocial support services. The new layout of Maison Gilles-Carle de Brome-Missisquoi includes:\r\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The addition of two rooms and the expansion of the common areas for an increased capacity to accommodate and for an improved offering of activities. The organization can now welcome a total of 12 assisted persons per day, including six individuals for day respite and six for overnight respite. Prior to the expansion, the BMCSG was able to welcome 8 assisted persons per day;\r\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New office spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The reorganization of a closed room for more privacy during meetings\/discussions with caregivers;\r\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new outdoor terrace at the back of the house.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The BMCSG is very pleased with the results of the work. The renovations took a little longer than expected for various reasons such as the rising cost of materials, delivery delays and the scarcity of labour, but we did it!
