A need was clearly defined: the lack of support for caregivers in Brome-Missisquoi. In response to this request, the Brome-Missisquoi Caregiver Support Group (BMCSG) was officially created in 1996 with the goal of offering respite and support services.<\/p>\n<p>BMCSG has an important role and that is to give caregivers a chance to rest, to express their needs and feelings, to be listened to with empathy and compassion, and to be given support and tools that will help them to better assist their loved ones. We help and encourage extraordinary people who deserve and are entitled to resources to improve their quality of life.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rsabm.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Soutien.jpg\" alt=\"Soutien\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"667\" width=\"1000\" title=\"Soutien\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading='lazy' \/>\n<h2>\n\t\t\t Our Support Services\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>All our support services are available in English and in French.<\/p>\n<h4>\n\t\t\tIndividual and group psychosocial support\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rsabm.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Sabrina-groupe.jpg\" alt=\"Sabrina groupe\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"480\" width=\"640\" title=\"Sabrina groupe\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading='lazy' \/>\n<p>In Cowansville:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual consultations<\/li>\n<li>Discussion workshops<\/li>\n<li>Coffee meetings<\/li>\n<li>Community lunches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our Caregiver Support Counsellors also travel throughout the Brome-Missisquoi territory to present and offer services to organizations and groups by invitation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rsabm.ca\/en\/upcoming-activities\/\"><strong>To discover activities offered to caregivers, please click here.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h4>\n\t\t\tFor all services offered by the organization, the caregiver must be a member and pay an annual fee of $30.\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/rsabm.ca\/en\/bmcsg\/member\/\" target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBecome A Member\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/rsabm.ca\/en\/bmcsg-home\/\" target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOur Respite Services\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t<p><em>\u00ab J&#8217;aimerais t\u00e9moigner de la qualit\u00e9 d&#8217;un service du RSABM. Il s&#8217;agit de l&#8217;intervention psychosociale et de la relation d&#8217;aide. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Nous les aidants, nous sommes habitu\u00e9s \u00e0 ne pas demander, \u00e0 nous fier seulement sur nous-m\u00eame. Mais apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9moin de la qualit\u00e9 des accompagnements pour mon fils, je me suis dit : \u00e7a me ferait surement du bien! J&#8217;ai tent\u00e9 ma chance&#8230; Et je vous dis&#8230; je ne sais pas comment j&#8217;ai pu m&#8217;en passer aussi longtemps! <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>C&#8217;est des moments de pur bonheur. J&#8217;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillie avec douceur, sensibilit\u00e9 et tellement de compassion que j&#8217;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure d&#8217;amorcer des r\u00e9flexions qui retardaient depuis tr\u00e8s longtemps&#8230; Comment prendre soin de moi? Qu&#8217;est-ce qui me fait du bien?
